Mole removal is available at MySkyn Clinic in Bradford along with skin tag and wart removal.
Moles grow in a great many forms and colours and affect some people more than others. In some cases, moles can have a severe impact on a person’s confidence in the way they look.
If your self-esteem is taking a hit because of moles on your face, neck or body, or you simply want them gone, mole removal is a quick and easy answer.
Mole removal at MySkyn can be done in two ways. We offer a non-invasive option and a minor surgical option. The type of treatment you receive will depend on the type of mole you want removed.
This is something that you will have a chance to talk about at length with one of our professionals.

Is Mole Removal Right For Me?
People’s reasons for getting a mole removed are as diverse as the moles themselves. There is no wrong or right reason, no matter why you choose to go down this route.
Not liking the look of a mole for cosmetic reasons is just as valid as any other. Reduced self-confidence can have negative effects on people’s lives. Here at MySkyn, we want you to be as comfortable as possible in your own skin.
There are cases in which mole removal is important for medical reasons.
There is a type of skin cancer called Melanoma, which often develops from moles and can spread elsewhere on the body.
If you have a mole which has started growing in size, changing colour, itching, scabbing over or even bleeding, you must have it seen by a GP. These moles typically appear on men’s backs and women’s legs in more than one colour and as an odd shape.
Mole Removal at MySkyn
You can book onto a consultation with either Dr Qureshi or our plastic surgeon, Mr Sharif Al-Ghazal to determine which course of treatment is best for your mole.
MySkyn offers two types of mole removal treatment:
Cryotherapy – Liquid gas is used to kill the cells in the mole by freezing them. The mole will fall away naturally after this. For some, it falls away immediately, for others it can take a week or so.
Minor Surgery – A blade is used to remove the mole. This might be necessary if the mole needs removing from the deeper levels of the skin.
For both of these procedures, you will be given a local anaesthetic to numb any pain or discomfort, though this should be minimal.
You will be free to leave the clinic immediately after your appointment. The mole will be dressed and we will give you detailed instructions on aftercare, specific to the treatment you have received.
