Earlobe Reductions and Corrections

Stretched earlobe reductions

Stretched earlobes are those where the ear-piercing hole has increased in size and a ‘tunnel’ is now visible. Repair of the defect is possible in most cases, although it can be difficult if the hole/tunnel is large.

This procedure is performed by Mr Sharif Al-ghazal, consultant plastic surgeon and can be carried out under local anaesthetic. You will be able to return to normal activities on the same day usually. You may need to return to have stitches removed.

Split earlobe repair

Split earlobes occur usually as a result of tearing of the earlobe in sports or from a piercing being pulled.

This procedure is performed by Mr Sharif Al-ghazal, consultant plastic surgeon and can be carried out under local anaesthetic. You will be able to return to normal activities on the same day usually. You may need to return to have stitches removed.

Prominent ear fold correction

Some types of prominent ear folds can be treated under local anaesthetic at MySkyn Clinic by Mr Sharif Al-ghazal. He will provide a consultation to check your suitability for the procedure under local anaesthetic. If not suitable he will advise on what alternative options you have for ear correction.
