Ear Lobe Corrections

Stretched earlobe corrections

Stretched earlobes are those where the ear-piercing hole has increased in size and a ‘tunnel’ is now visible. Repair of the defect is possible in most cases, although it can be difficult if the hole/tunnel is large.

This procedure is performed by Mr Sharif Al-ghazal, consultant plastic surgeon and can be carried out under local anesthetic. You will be able to return to normal activities on the same day usually. You may need to return to have stitches removed.

Split earlobe repair

Split earlobes occur usually as a result of tearing of the earlobe in sports or from a piercing being pulled.

This procedure is performed by Mr Sharif Al-ghazal, consultant plastic surgeon and can be carried out under local anesthetic. You will be able to return to normal activities on the same day usually. You may need to return to have stitches removed.

Prominent earfold correction

Some types of prominent earfolds can be treated under local anesthetic at MySkyn Clinic by Mr Sharif Al-ghazal. He will provide a consultation to check your suitability for the procedure under local anesthetic. If not suitable he will advice on what alternative options you have for ear correction.
