Enlarged pores on the facial area are a common concern for many women of all ages and skin types. Large pores are the dilated opening of oil glands, concentrated mainly in the T-zone on your face, and can be a common side effect of oily skin. As we age the collagen in the skin begins to diminish and pores start to enlarge. Large pores can become a breeding ground for acne and blemishes giving the skin a less smooth, uneven appearance.
Sun exposure, acne and genetics also play a factor.
