Bushra Effendi is a prescribing pharmacist with a special interest in the menopause.
Bushra is dedicated to ensuring women navigate the menopause transition as smoothly and as well-informed as possible. Her passion for patient education and empowering individuals to make informed decisions is evident in her approach. She is able to prescribe body and bioidentical forms of Hormone replacement therapy.
Beyond her work in the NHS, Bushra has developed menopause guidelines and actively serves as a member of the Clinical Advisory Panel for The Menopause Charity.
In addition to her expertise in menopause care, Bushra is also a fully trained aesthetics practitioner. She brings her in-depth understanding of aesthetics and the impact hormonal imbalances can have on the skin to provide holistic care to her patients.
Bushra has a good working knowledge of Urdu, Punjabi, and Gujrati, which enables her to effectively communicate with diverse communities.

At MySkyn Clinic we realise it can be daunting embarking on your aesthetic treatment – whether its your first or not. Making our patients feel at ease is very important to us. Equally difficult is knowing if you have chosen the right clinic and practitioner, so that’s why the initial consultation is an essential part of your journey with us as it gives you the chance to get to know us.
The initial consultation will be detailed, relaxed and confidential. We will discuss your past medical history to ensure that you are suitable for any treatments as your safety is paramount. We will listen to your aesthetic and skin concerns and needs in order to fully understand what results you are looking for.
We will then explain to you what treatments we can offer to help you achieve your goals, along with expected results. You will be informed if you need a single treatment, a course or a combination of treatments in order to achieve the best results.
You will be informed of what to expect from the treatments along with any potential risks. You will be able to ask as many questions as you wish and see before and after pictures.

Once you have decided on your treatment you we’ll find a convenient time and book your first appointment. At your first treatment photographs and/or measurements will be taken so that your progress can be objectively assessed. The photos, like your records are confidential unless you agree to sign a consent form to state the clinic can use them for promotional matters.
Your practitioner will ensure that you are comfortable and safe throughout your treatment. They will discuss any aftercare requirements and provide written information to support this.
You will be provided with contact details should you run into any problems or simply have a question when you leave the clinic.
During your treatment course and at the end we will evaluate your progress and results. At this point we will discuss whether any additional treatments are required to further enhance your results.
We will advise you on any maintenance treatments that may be required to support your long-term results and schedule this for you. Your practitioner will also discuss with you if you need or would benefit from any further treatments or products.
